Indianapolis, IN – Brooksource, a technology service provider headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, is growing up and out. The company, founded in 2003, is entering its third market in as many years. Brooksource, whose services range from supplementing hardware/software upgrades to full service web application development and ERP implementation, will offer the same services as in the Detroit and Indianapolis markets. Brooksource Chief Financial Officer Jeff Weiser states, “We are very excited about the Cincinnati market. Cincinnati offers a technology climate almost double the size of our home market in Indianapolis. Our company goals are to be a national player in the technology support space. Having a strong base of regional markets around Indianapolis should strengthen our push nationally.”
Brooksource considered other markets for its second expansion site, but chose Cincinnati based on some pre-existing regional relationships. Cincinnati’s proximity to Indianapolis was also a factor. Dan Hanrahan, Cincinnati Branch Manager, states, “Most of our activity in Cincinnati so far has been recruiting and scouting rather than start-up. Now, that has changed. We look to make a serious push to ramp up revenues and build relationships over the next 6 months. By this time next year, we hope to have a 6 – 12 person office and over 40 consultants in the greater Southwest Ohio area.”
Brooksource, established in 2003, was launched as an alternative to our entry-to-mid level support division called Technical Youth (est. 2000). Brooksource and Technical Youth have focused on Contract, Contract to Hire, and Direct Placement positions across the Midwest, by placing innovative and talented IT individuals for technical projects and hiring needs. Technical Youth and Brooksource have been recognized for seven consecutive years as one of Indiana’s most successful technology-based companies. As one of the fastest growing information technology companies in the Midwest, Brooksource serves the following markets: Indianapolis, Detroit, Louisville, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Chicago, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Nashville and Columbus, Ohio.
